Exhibit Title:
Computational Studies and Visualization in Education and Their Application for Remote Education

Research Exhibit Abstract:
Saitama Institute of Technology initiated its efforts in the education of information technology in the last few years. The computational resources are, Origin, ONYX300 and VR such as CAVE. Most parts of visualization environment followed the one of Saitama University and are able to keep the good compatibility with Saitama University in computational science and education. Some teleconference system is equiped for remote education. Visualization system is the important part for education and research. VR such as CAVE is the new environmnet for these education and research. Its contents can be shared with other universities which have CAVE or similar VR. The cooperative study is expected in the fields of science, engineernig and art with three-dimensional features.
